PORTFOLIO OF PRACTISE
NCST, State Tribes Commission & Tribal Welfare Board Matters
We represent individuals, families and entire tribal communities before the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST), State Tribes Commissions and Tribal Welfare Boards in matters relating to Scheduled Tribe community certificate verification, wrongful cancellation, fraudulent denial, reservation eligibility disputes, and inclusion or exclusion from the ST list. Our services include preparing detailed petitions, compiling genealogical, cultural and anthropological evidence, coordinating with revenue authorities during field enquiries, attending Commission hearings, responding to show-cause notices and securing corrective recommendations. We also challenge illegal orders of Tahsildars, RDOs or District Authorities before appellate bodies, High Courts and the Supreme Court, relying on NCST findings wherever necessary. Additionally, we handle matters concerning tribal land rights, forest-dweller rights, patta regularisation, protection against encroachment, restoration of illegally alienated land, and access to government welfare schemes, educational reservations and employment benefits. Our representation ensures strict enforcement of constitutional protections for Scheduled Tribes, safeguarding their identity, land, culture and legal entitlements under both Central and State laws.
